The Foxgloves Regency Romance Series

The Mistress

Book 1: Amelia and Gideon's Story
Picture
A chance meeting and instant connection between Amelia Becham and Gideon Edwards, the Duke of Birmingham, sets in motion a Season full of misunderstanding.

Amelia is immediately drawn to the strong and confident Duke of Birmingham but is sure nothing could come of their soul deep awareness. At the urging of her family, she agrees to participate in the London Season, where her hopes grow and she begins to believe the two of them were meant for each other, regardless of social expectations. But when she learns of the very different kind of relationship Gideon seeks, she must decide if her reputation is worth more to her than her happiness.

Gideon, a product of an unhappy home, believes in neither love nor marriage. Planning never to wed, he meets the sweet and alluring Amelia, his friend’s longstanding mistress, and knows she is his. Amused and more than a little intrigued, he follows her to London to join in the Season, where he intends to secure her for himself. But he soon learns how deeply mistaken he’s been and must decide between holding onto his past or choosing a different future.

Surrounded by shattered hopes and false assumptions, can Amelia and Gideon understand themselves and each other enough to build a relationship they both want?

Book 2: Genevieve and Oliver's Story
Picture
Genevieve Edwards never expected to see Oliver Sinclair again. When he finally returns after seven years, they both find themselves straddling the lines between hatred, passion, love, and scandal in a new London Season.

Genevieve does not trust people easily. Growing up in a cruel home, her only solace had been the strangely kind little boy who decided to be her friend. But when that boy grew up and left to travel the world, the heartbreak of his abandonment stayed with her. Now, he’s returned on the eve of her first Season, and she finds herself full of bitter resentment…and something far more unexpected for the handsome and charming man Oliver has become.

Oliver returns to England unaware of the animosity his childhood friend now feels for him. The broken little girl he’d befriended, cared for, and spent years building trust with is now a grown, spitfire of a woman he’s not sure he can stand. Except her beauty and fierceness cause his blood to stir in more than just anger. Which is why, against his better judgement, he follows Genevieve to London to join the Season.

But when their history and intense attraction put Genevieve and Oliver in a compromising position, can they let go of their hurts and doubts long enough to find their way back to one another?

The Wife

Book 3: Anna and Charles's Story
Picture
Lady Anna Lucas and Charles Sinclair have avoided their betrothal and each other for nearly their entire lives. With their marriage finally upon them, they find themselves navigating confused emotions, contradicting desires, and a long history of neglect during the holiday season.

Anna cannot remember a time before her engagement. While it had been arranged by their families, she grew up admiring the person that would one day be her husband. Charles is the most intelligent, self-possessed, distinctively handsome man she has ever known. And yet, a wall exists between them that feels impossible to breach, so she never tried. But now, they are married, and Anna finally finds herself wanting a real relationship with her husband.

Charles could never handle the feelings his wife stirred within him. Forced to marry her, Anna has always been a reminder of all the many choices stolen from him as the eldest son. They managed to maintain a safe distance throughout their lives, yet now that she is his wife, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to run from the warm, composed, unrealistically beautiful woman she is. But with the riot of contradicting emotions within him, Charles does not know if he is capable of eradicating the insurmountable distance that lives between them.

As they celebrate the holidays with their family and friends, and confront a threat within their own home, can Anna and Charles finally decide on and create a marriage they both want?
